Game of Thrones is a TV show adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s novel A Song of Ice and Fire. Show depicts political and personal struggles of powerful families (Houses) that rule Seven Kingdoms. Season one was Ned Stark’s rise to the power as a hand of a king. Game of Thrones contains more storylines: such as Targeryen outcasts trying to invade their old home, Lannisters’ ambition to regain throne for themselves and much more. Production quality is absolutely fantastic (definitely due to HBO’s talent and funding) and this one is a must-see for all fantasy fans.
